dated for 1859 (lock possibly replaced or re-used), with 33in. barrel, block and blade fore-sight, elevating ladder rear-sight, bayonet lug to right hand side of muzzle, borderline engraved lock marked with the date and 'TOWER', the tail bearing a Queen's crown device, walnut three-quarter stock, iron furniture and iron jag-ended loading or cleaning rod
